For use in operating multiple Garrett PD 6500i walkthroughs
The Garrett SM 100 Wireless Synchronization Module allows multiple Garrett PD 6500i walk-through metal detectors to operate in close proximity without the need for power line phase or wired synchronization. This feature is especially important when the units are operated from battery power. A Leader unit can control a cluster of Follower units within approximately 15 metres (50 feet). A cluster consists of one Leader unit and as many Follower units as space allows. Nine radio channels are available to allow the configuration of multiple clusters within a venue.
