Charles and Eleanor Garrett founded Garrett Metal Detectors in Garland, Texas, from their home garage in 1964. Since that time, their leap of faith on a shoestring budget turned into a global business success. Today, the legacy of our founders lives on in the pride and attention to detail that Garrett employees put into every product we produce.
